Posted on 15th Mar 2010 @ 8:28 AM

Greg_at_KEA2.JPGGreg joined other NZ businesses with a UK presence  at an event in Dublin hosted by Kiwi expatriate network, Kea (www.kea.co.nz)  and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise www.nzte.govt.nz

It was an informative evening on the ins and outs of doing business in Ireland as well as providing a unique opportunity to learn about the activity of a wide spectrum of New Zealand businesses that have representation in the country.

Speakers for the evening included Alan McCarthy, Honorary Consul-General for New Zealand in Ireland and Gerry Sharkey, Department Manager, International Financial Services Division, Ireland Development Association, who provided guests with insights in to the business opportunities and incentives Ireland has to offer and the support available from the Irish Government for businesses looking to establish a presence in the Irish market. There was also an opportunity for
Kea members to learn about a number of New Zealand businesses with a presence in Ireland, representing a number of sectors including ICT, F&B, education and specialised manufacturing.
See picture for Greg about to offer KEA Ireland members in the audience a large pile of free Green Bay Manuka Honeysuckers!
